A precious metal clay seed pod pendant hangs from a sterling silver chain enhanced by wire wrapped PMC branches, wrinkle freshwater pearls and faceted green amethyst rondels; finished with a handcrafted leaves hook & eye clasp. $375
(Precious metal clay process: I create a slurry with the PMC and paint natural matter with 17 layers of the slurry, allowing each layer to dry before applying the next. The pieces are then baked in a kiln where the clay binder and natural matter burn out, leaving the silver elements which are then chemically oxidized to create a lovely patina. )
